Installation Help

System Requirements

Unless otherwise specified, extensions from AE Creations require Mozilla Firefox, version 2.0 or newer. Firefox versions 1.5.0.* and older are not supported.

Clippings is compatible with Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird. You must download and install Clippings in Firefox and Thunderbird if you want to use Clippings in both programs; installing Clippings in one program will not install it in the other. To install Clippings in Thunderbird, follow the instructions in this MozillaZine Knowledge Base article.

Allowing Extension Installation

If you see a yellow alert bar at the top of your browser after clicking the install link, do the following (depending on which version of Firefox you are using):

On Firefox 3:

1. Click the Allow button in the browser's alert bar.
2. In the dialog box that appears, click Install to proceed with the extension installation.

On Firefox 2:

1. Click the Edit Options button in the browser's alert bar.
2. In the dialog box that appears, click Allow to enable extension installation from this site, then click OK to dismiss the dialog box.
3. Click on the install link on the page to try again.
